Beyonce Knowles Carter – Austin Powers: Goldmember

“I’m Foxxy Cleopatra, and I’m a whole ‘lotta woman!”. Beyoncé took a break from releasing music to film the 3rd installment of the Austin Powers franchise, 2002’s Goldmember. Teaming up with the mysterious yet peculiar Goldmember, Dr. Evil hatches a time-traveling scheme to take over the world, one that involves the kidnapping of Nigel Powers, Austin's beloved father and England's most renowned spy. As he chases the villains through time, Austin visits 1975 and joins forces with his old flame, Foxxy Cleopatra, a streetwise but stylish detective. This wouldn’t be Beyoncé’s last stab at acting, following up this movie gem with The Pink Panther, Dreamgirls and Obsessed, among others.
