Are you related to a celebrity? Well, you may find out soon! In a new genealogical documentary series, Who Do You Think You Are? Hollywood stars, including Sarah Jessica Parker, Lisa Kudrow and Susan Sarandon will attempt to find long lost relatives. Kudrow, who is also the show’s executive producer, will be the first celeb (amongst many to still be announced) to dig up the dirt on her family tree. “This show personalizes history and turns it into a gripping narrative,” Kudrow said. “The most striking thing about the show is the realization of how connected we all are.” The show, based on the popular BBC version, plans to take the audience back into world history to expose how the lives of everyone’s collective ancestors’ have shaped today’s world. The documentary premieres April 20 at 8 p.m. EST.
Sounds like another way to attract more stalkers to me! People don’t always like and may not be able to take back what they find!!!
Ummmm…. gee sounds familiar – exactly like the CBC version of the same name…
my mother is a genealogy nut and she’ll probably watch it. after some digging, she actually found out that her father was a 5th cousin to Gene Roddenberry, which most of the family thinks is pretty cool since we’ve all watched star trek for years 🙂
Sandie, that is very interesting. A good friend of mine has done a thorough search on her Family Tree and I find it fascinating, has prompted me to be curious about my own and may lok into one day.
Have to say though this won’t be on my viewing list, not into Reality T.v. at all…
