Ashton Kutcher is the 500th customer to sign up for a flight with Richard Branson’s commercial space fleet. Branson announced the news yesterday on his blog, writing, “I gave Ashton a quick call to congratulate and welcome him. He is as thrilled as we are at the prospect of being among the first to cross the final frontier (and back!) with us and to experience the magic of space for himself.” Tickets for the suborbital flight — which takes customers 68 miles above the Earth, allowing them to experience zero gravity, are $200,000 each. Branson’s Virgin Galactic flights will begin launching in 2013 or 2014, from his base in the New Mexican desert.

Demi Moore’s memoir, Inside Out, released Tuesday. It offers revealing anecdotes about her life, including her alcohol relapse, blaming it on Ashton Kutcher.
Will that make him an official space cadet?
fingers crossed they all get back safe or it would be the titanic of 2013/14
yeah maybe he is smart. He likely wanted to do this space trip from day one, but maybe he’s not too dumb after all. I would like to wait 500 people and see if the first few trips work or not… smart thinking.
You know you’ve got too much money on your hands when you can afford to send people to space like it’s a Carribean vacation
Titanic of 2013/14 would imply there are thousands of people on board………..
