Mark Wahlberg hates SNL parody

Mark Wahlberg didn’t think Andy Samberg’s skit “Mark Wahlberg Talks to Animals” on Saturday Night Live was funny. He told the New York Post: “Someone showed it to me on YouTube. It wasn’t like Tina Fey doing Sarah Palin, that’s for sure. And Saturday Night Live hasn’t been funny for a long time. They’ve asked me to do the show a ton of times. I used to watch it when Eddie Murphy was there and Joe Piscopo and Bill Murray. I don’t even know who’s on the show now.”

   I love SNL and I love Andy Samberg!
   I think the impression was great…Mark Wahlberg needs to learn how to take a joke. =)

   I have to agree with Wahlberg…this skit is so not funny and SNL was a fabulous show many years ago, I have a lot of their stuff in my DVD collection. They have never been able to match or even come close to the comic genius of Belushi, Murray, Chase, Acroyd, Martin, etc. and some real unforgettable guests, i.e. Chris Walken. There were tons of funny moments. A few of the later skits were promising, but I do find a lot of it dull today. Love Tina Fey on 30Rock, yet don’t care for her Palin routine, contrary to Wahlberg’s taste. This Talk to Animals was completely dead loss lame.

   SNL hasent been funny for a long time now, I stopped watching it. Now Madtv that’s funny. SNL has just run out of jokes. Some times it’s funny, but it’s not how it used to be!

   How does anyone find that funny? yah the guy sounds like mark wahlberg but the fact that he’s talking to animals and people laugh? get out of the house you hermits and get a real sense of humor

    Andy sounded so much like him though.
    I mean…sure the skit itself is pretty dumb, but I think that was the whole point…that’s just Andy’s style of humor (A good example of this would be the “Laser Cats” skits if anyone’s seen them) =)

    Incase people haven’t seen the most recent episode of SNL (Host: Josh Brolin), The opening skits really funny. Mark Wahlberg (the real one)shows up to demand to see Andy. I guess he didn’t mean for his comments on the show to sound as bad as they did. =)
    The real Sarah Palin’s on there too.
