Miley Cyrus sued for $4 billion

Miley Cyrus is being sued for $4 billion by a Los Angeles woman named Lucie J. Kim after being accused of pulling a “racist pose” in a photograph. A leaked image surfaced last week, which showed the teen and several of her friends pulling their eyes into slants. Also in the photo was a young Asian male, but despite Cyrus’s initial apology, an Asian Pacific American group accused the teen of being racist and called her apology “inadequate.” Kim, who filed the lawsuit on Wednesday, claims to represent more than one million Asian Pacific Islanders in the L.A. area. She says the Hannah Montana star violated civil rights. On Tuesday Cyrus issued a second apology on her website saying, “I want to thank all of my fans for their support not only this week, but always! I really wanted to stress how sorry I am if the photo of me with my friends offended anyone. I have learned a valuable lesson from this and know that sometimes my actions can be unintentionally hurtful. I know everything is part of God’s ultimate plan, and mistakes happen so that eventually I will become the woman He aspires me to be. Peace and love, Miles.”
