Jonah Hill – Moneyball

Having established himself as an awkward and sometimes foul-mouthed comedic actor, Jonah Hill quickly shifted gears for fear of being deemed limited in his range, particularly after a series of flops. That gear change came in the form of Bennett Miller's baseball drama Moneyball. Starring alongside Brad Pitt, Hill shattered preconceptions with a compelling and more subdued performance as Assistant General Manager Peter Brand. This performance would land Hill the first of two Oscar nominations and would set him on the path of working with other esteemed directors such as Martin Scorsese and Cary Joji Fukunaga.
