First introduced to us in the 1953 horror classic Creature from the Black Lagoon, the Gill-man is last of a dying race of "man-fish" creatures that existed in the Devonian age. Gill-man resides in a lagoon located deep into the Amazon forest. What makes this monster unique compared to the rest is the fact he is fully amphibious, with the ability to breathe under water.
