Who wears which shape?

Circle-shaped masks are grunt workers in charge of cleaning up and disposing of the dead players — they are at the bottom of the hierarchy. The triangle-masked guards are the armed soldiers and the square-masked ones are managers, having the most power. They are in charge of overseeing the soldiers and workers.
