Robert Pine and Chris Pine

After bursting onto the scene as this generation’s Captain James T. Kirk in J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek, it wouldn’t be a surprise for many to think that Chris Pine came out of nowhere, but in reality he has quite the family history in show business. His parents are Robert Pine (pictured here) and Gwynne Gilford, actors best known for their TV work in the '70s and '80s, and his grandmother is none other than Anne Gwynne, one of Universal’s early scream queens.
