Amazing movie. Met my expectations... loved it and would definitely recommend it.
I WASTED MY MONEY AND TIME - I WAS WAITING FOR IT TO END THE WHOLE TIME!
What a joke! I left to see another movie.
Godzilla is badass! This movie has an ACTUAL back story/explanation for Godzilla, which adds another dimension, so I don't know what other people are talking about. Solid movie, GO SEE IT!!
don't expect any excitement from this movie, you will be totally disappointed
there are no story line in this movie, I went out from the theatre and say to myself why I am so stupid not listening to my friends who told me this is a piece shit.
Amazing. Only I wish they put Godzilla and Bryan Cranston more.
really disappointed.
don't waste your time and money
I will give 0 star if I have this option as there is no story in this movie at all. If you wanted to see special effects, it is OK but I still think it is not worth to spend money to watch this movie.
so so movie as it had certain elements that where not bad but disappointing from the monsters that Godzilla had to fight and overkill on his trade mark scream, but much better than the major flop that came before, better on dvd and not worth on the big screen to be let down sorry Godzilla fans :(
BEST MOVIE EVER!!!
TWO THUMBS UP
This was a movie I was looking forward to ending as soon as it started. Obviously zero effort went into the story-line, because there was none! Special effects is the only thing this movie has going for it.
Finally justice has been done to this incredible franchise! Bravo, well made film.
I am 61 years old and a huge Godzilla and this movie was the best Godzilla movie ever. I was privileged to have a mother and three young children behind me and I listened to them express feelings about Godzilla. They never seen Godzilla before but they were routing the big guy on. I have never seen so much feeling in a theatre before everyone was cheering and applauding as the big G took care of business. The theatre went silent for a moment at the end but then burst into a super load cheer and standing ovation. Great Flick
twas the BOMB .COM
This is the best monster movie of all-time. I WAS STUNNED. The visual effects, the acting performances and the action were all INCREDIBLE. Godzilla is my new best friend.
Amazing, lot of Actions, Godzilla is King!!!!!!
Characters were better in the '98 version.
It was cute.
As a fan of Godzilla for more than 30yrs I thought this version was a good one. Godzilla looked menacing. Like a Godzilla on steroids! The movie was done correctly and ended as it should. People applauded at the end. Only problem I had I needed to see Godzilla more. Must see it again.
I would have given this zero stars if possible. You get to see Godzilla for roughly 10-15 minutes out of 2+ hrs movie. And his fight scenes total up to less than 10 mins. All fight scenes and giant bug scenes are in almost complete darkness, so you barely get to see what's happening. Worst directing job of the decade, save your money. Stick with the japanese Godzilla movies, at least the guy in rubber suit comes out in day light and stays for at least an hour on screen!
Awesome!
I watched the movie with my teens. It was a great movie full of special effects. Don't miss it if you like action scifi movies.
wow... just wow
Godzilla through and through... a must see for Godzilla fans!!
THE KING OF MONSTERS HAS RETURNED TO CINEMA!!!!
Save your money. Very weak storyline.
Here, finally, is a giant monster movie made in the anything-goes CGI era still capable of making your jaw drop.
Godzilla was Awesome!!!
the godzilla was millions of year old and the bugs he fought got to his size in 15 years to many flaws in the story.
I almost fell a sleep waiting to see Godzilla, it took way too long to develop such a weak story. They way under utilized Bryan Cranston, he was in it for like 15 minutes and over utilized Kick-Ass! Olsen's character was a waste of screen time and did nothing really for the story. The worst was the way too short monster fight scenes. Save your money and watch it on the movie channel for free.
The kids loved it and I grew up watching the original cartoons back in the 80's. I hope they'll come back with a sequel as my son was already asking me if he can have his own BIG G to bring to school!
Amazing special effect , great story for a monster movie, great acting. The soundtrack was really good as well. A must watch!...dont expect Pacific Rim tho.
4 Problems with this movie. 1) Why does all action have to happen at night. I would guess 80% of this movie took place at night. WHY? 2) Characters nobody cared about. Just die already! 3)Do you really need 1 hour to develop this type of story? uninteresting scenes that added nothing to the story. 4)Missing funny people squashing scenes. You know, when some loud mouth bully gets stepped o or fried. Save your money and invest it.
I love it monster bash
Good movie. Go see it now, it was a good movie, I loved it, my kid love so much, every body go see it.
Lots of fun!
Great movie. ...really enjoyed it.
Ok.
it is what it is a monster movie , was expecting more.
Director Gareth Edwards deserves praise for taking Godzilla back to his goofy "suit-mation" roots. A fun ride for fans of pre-CG Godzilla.
I liked it.. effects were great.. although I found Godzilla's roar to be a little off.. looking forward to more.. Mothra and King Ghidorah would be great in future endeavours !!!
Good movie as a whole. Some early mystery, some great action at the end. Somewhat boring middle portion though.
Piece of shit movie and all the fake 5 stars. Seems like another Paranormal Activity movie.
It's an introduction to Godzilla movie - it closely follows the original but is much better. I loved it, but I am a fan of the beast. Look forward to Godzilla being pissed off in Return of Godzilla!
The special effects were great but the movie wasn't very moving. Brian Cranston relived his acting character from Breaking Bad; same old, same old. Lots of long silent gazes from the characters does mean good acting. I'd wait for the DVD to come out to view this one.
So fun. Still one Kickass Lizard!!
Awesome. Excellent movie. I saw the first Godzilla in 1964. I was upset with the 1998 version but this one rocks. If you are a fan of Godzilla, this movie is a must. The 2014 version is better, bigger and nastier thanks to the awesome CGI.
