well done
amazing but sad =( <3
Terrific!
lovely movie
it was touching...:)
Great Surprise! Amazing movie about man's best friend and how much they mean to us. Excellent story and great acting all around, truly one of the best movies I have seen all year.
I'm not an animal person but seeing this movie made me appreciate why people love their pets so much. Fantastic movie.
A good movie up until the overly dramatic, prolonged painful ending. It really killed the movie for me. I wouldn't recommend it.
please people ...let your children know reality and not just happy feel good shows...they need a grip on life and this movie does it.
An excellent movie with great acting. Very emotional at times but well worth it. Nice to see a movie come around with a story that doesn't involve special effects and violence.
Great movie for dog lovers, we all see our dog in Marley.... really enjoyed it.
Definitely not a kid's movie, being mostly about marital dynamics and the effects of children on a marriage. The first half was fun, and then it became deadly serious. The scene at the second visit to the vet was drawn out w-a-y too long and was clearly included mainly to hype up the pathos, which I found to be manipulative. All that said, for the most part this is a decent adult film that will appeal to men and women equally.
Please people, stop with the weak, victim mentality just because it's based on real life and not some "feel good" superficiality. Cry a little once in a while - it's part of what makes us human!!! "HELLO"!!!
this was a decent movie for an hour...maybe marley ate the second half of the script and they had to come up with something fast!
this movie was surprisingly good. Both funny and sad. watch it :))))))))
I went into the movie expecting a chick flick, however, this movie is a combination of a comedy/romance/family. Both Owen and Jennifer played amazing roles, this movie was phenomenal, I absolutely loved it! But it was very sad near the ending, so remember to take kleenex!
DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS TO THIS!!! False advertising for "comedy" and "family" movie. Good movie, but it has extreme sadness which will leave your child very upset to unconsoleable. I had to leave with my young daughters.. it was just too much. SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN ADVERTISED AS A FAMILY MOVIE. Look at the ad - cute puppy?, VERY decieving. If you're a dog lover, and like sad stories, this one is for you, but don't take kids. Please - for their sake.
Was so much more then I thought it was going to be!!! Loved it.
BOSS MOVIE.......... will love to have a dog like that
WOW!!
Questionable casting choices (other than Jennifer Aniston who was surprisingly good) but still worth seeing...especially for dog lovers
very sad but very touching i would see it again
it was just so emotionally crippling that i dont think i can even look at my dog again. it got me thinking so much that i just - tears - couldnt ..,. OMG. this is too much!!
For animal lovers it was an awesome movie, however, if you're not a big fan of dogs like I am, Jen & Owen were brilliant and it further convinced me to never get a dog!!
First 30 minutes were a comedy, then drama with pointless sadness mixed into it. Boring after first half hour. Should have gone straight to video.
not what I was expecting. But a great movie overall. Very touching, and heartwarming. A little longer then necessary, but well worth a look.
A really wonderful movie that left me bawling in the theatre and constantly drying my eyes. I did not expect to be so emotionally affected by the story but it was one that I could relate with. The level of acting by Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston was surprisingly high and completely altered what I thought of them as actors. Their performances were convincing and the dynamic between the two was so natural and unforced. A heartfelt story that captures the strong bond between pet and owner but also relational bonds between people. Highly recommended.
it was a good movie
this movie was one I wasn't really interested in seeing but the person I went with wanted to see it so I agreed. I was pleasantly surprised and moved by it. great acting by jennifer and owen
I just loved it! The book was better (as usual)but the movie was great! Very funny in parts, but totally heartbreaking and very real - I know, I've been there...
Awesome! sniff sniff
Great movie! I haven't cried like that, in a long time! It's sad, but nice to be able to feel that way during a movie. Makes you connect with the characters in the film, and the people in the theatre too. Terrific job! 5*****
very synthetic sweet - really cloying. Far too long. Hated it.
made me sad! N.D
Manipulative tripe.
Great movie...a must see!
Very disappointing if you read the book! It is not a comedy. Only dog owners will appreciate this movie. I cried because I own 3 dogs and can relate.
Amazing novel, okay movie. Probably wouldn't go see it again.
Don't see this movie, it is the saddest thing you will ever watch!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bawled my eyes out, ppl go to the movies to be entertained not emotionally abused, but the life lesson is to cherish your family and pets and not to be wrapped up in materialism like cars, houses and clothes. Great now u don't have to see it.
I bawled by eyes out reading the book!
I was expecting to see more of the dog than their life. I was very disoppointed since I have read the book. I was keep waiting for when they are gonna show dog's action than their married life whole way through.
Best actor Oscar for Marley, Best Supporting actor for Owen Wilson and Best Supporting Actor for Alan Arkin. A comedy/drama that should not be ignored by the academy.
such a great book, and a great movie
I am sick of the people crying and sobbing about how this isn't an appropriate movie for Christmas. Get over yourselves. Couldn't handle the ending could we? You are the same people to be the first to whine and say that a movie is predictable. As for the movie it was so-so. I had a hard time feeling anything towards an animal that causes that many problems.
Great movie with an amazing life lesson
Marley and me was one of the best book ive ever read. Grogan is an amazing writer and the book will both make you laugh and cry. I found the movie emensely enjoyable (however it wasn't as good as the book) I highly recomend that you go see the movie or even better, read the book. great for animal lovers/owners.
this movie was hilarious while also being well, really interesting and fun to watch. even though i've already seen it, i'd watch it again anyday! krkfjirnjgoiwhgtpiuroifhowirurroihuf (secret code)
Jennifer & Owen were pretty good. Not a true comedy in the sense, but more of a family life story. Sold like it was a comedy, but still worth a look, but don’t look for a side splitting comedy. 3 Stars
worst movie ever
omg...great movie..never seen so many cry at a movie..worth seeing..loved it
