In desperate need of $231,000 to pay for his wife's surgery, war veteran Will Sharp (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) asks his adoptive brother Danny for help, who instead asks him to take part in a $32 million bank heist, which he reluctantly accepts. Their escape from authorities goes awry when they have to hijack an ambulance in order to get away, as they must now hold a paramedic (Eiza González) and an injured police officer hostage in a chaotic, city-wide getaway.
